Responsibilities
- Lead quantum algorithm development for cryptography and optimization challenges
- Design and execute experiments on 500+ qubit quantum processors
- Publish breakthrough research in top-tier journals (Nature, Science, etc.)
- Collaborate with AI/ML teams to integrate quantum-classical hybrid systems
- Mentor junior researchers and supervise PhD-level projects
- Secure $2M+ in annual research funding through grant proposals
Qualifications
- PhD in Quantum Physics, Computer Science, or related field
- 3+ years hands-on experience with quantum hardware/software (IBM, Rigetti, etc.)
- Published record in quantum information theory or quantum algorithms
- Expertise in Python/C++ and quantum programming frameworks (Qiskit, Cirq)
- Demonstrated ability to secure government or corporate research grants
- Strong background in machine learning and high-performance computing
