Responsibilities
- Design and implement quantum algorithms for optimization and machine learning problems
- Lead cross-functional teams in prototyping quantum hardware-software interfaces
- Publish peer-reviewed research in top-tier journals and conferences
- Develop error correction protocols for fault-tolerant quantum systems
- Secure $1M+ in government and private research grants
- Mentor PhD candidates in quantum information science
Qualifications
- PhD in Physics, Computer Science, or related field (postdoc preferred)
- 3+ years of hands-on quantum programming (Qiskit/Cirq)
- Published research in quantum error correction or topology
- Expertise in superconducting qubit systems
- Strong background in complex mathematical modeling
- Proven grant-writing experience with DARPA/NSF
- US citizenship required for government projects
