Responsibilities
- Design and implement novel quantum algorithms for optimization, cryptography, and machine learning applications
- Lead experimental validation of quantum hardware prototypes using superconducting qubit systems
- Develop hybrid quantum-classical computing frameworks for real-world enterprise solutions
- Publish groundbreaking research in top-tier journals and present at premier conferences
- Mentor junior researchers and foster cross-functional innovation with engineering teams
- Secure $2M+ in government and industry research grants for quantum initiatives
Qualifications
- PhD in Quantum Physics, Computer Science, or related field with 3+ years industry experience
- Proven expertise in quantum circuit design and error correction methodologies
- Publication record in Nature/Science or equivalent top-tier journals
- Proficiency in quantum programming languages (Q#, Qiskit, Cirq) and classical HPC frameworks
- Demonstrated success translating theoretical concepts into scalable quantum prototypes
- Strong background in machine learning and high-performance computing architectures
- Experience securing federal research grants (NSF/DOE/DARPA preferred)
