Responsibilities
- Design and implement quantum algorithms for optimization and simulation problems
- Lead research in quantum error correction techniques at scale
- Collaborate with hardware teams to translate theoretical models into practical applications
- Author peer-reviewed publications and present at quantum computing conferences
- Mentor junior researchers and contribute to patent development
- Partner with industry partners to solve real-world quantum challenges
Qualifications
- PhD in Physics, Computer Science, or related field with quantum focus
- 3+ years of hands-on quantum computing research experience
- Publication record in top-tier quantum computing journals
- Proficiency in quantum programming frameworks (Qiskit, Cirq, etc.)
- Strong background in linear algebra and quantum information theory
- Experience with cryogenic quantum systems preferred
- Proven ability to lead complex research projects from concept to publication
