Responsibilities
- Design and implement quantum algorithms for cryptographic applications using Qiskit and Cirq frameworks
- Lead experimental validation of quantum error correction protocols in cryogenic environments
- Develop hybrid quantum-classical machine learning models for predictive analytics
- Author peer-reviewed publications for Nature Quantum and IEEE journals
- Collaborate with hardware engineers to optimize qubit coherence times
- Present breakthrough findings at international quantum computing symposiums
- Mentor postdoctoral researchers on quantum information theory
Qualifications
- PhD in Quantum Physics, Computer Science, or Computational Mathematics with 3+ years industry experience
- Proficiency in quantum programming languages (Q#, Quil, or Qiskit) and Python/C++
- Published research in quantum cryptography or fault-tolerant architectures
- Hands-on experience with quantum annealing systems (D-Wave Advantage) or superconducting qubits
- Deep understanding of Shor's algorithm, Grover's search, and quantum key distribution
- Security clearance eligibility (preferred for government collaboration projects)
- Track record of securing research grants from NSF or DoE
