Responsibilities
- Design and implement novel quantum algorithms for optimization and simulation
- Lead experimental validation of quantum hardware systems at 50+ qubit scale
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to develop quantum-classical hybrid architectures
- Publish peer-reviewed research in top-tier quantum computing journals
- Secure and manage federal/state research grants for quantum initiatives
- Mentor junior researchers in quantum error correction protocols
Qualifications
- PhD in Quantum Physics, Computer Science, or related field with 3+ years post-doctoral experience
- Expertise in quantum circuit design and quantum machine learning frameworks
- Published research in Nature/Science or equivalent high-impact journals
- Proficiency with quantum computing platforms (IBM Quantum, Rigetti, etc.)
- Strong background in quantum error correction and fault-tolerant systems
- Experience securing government research grants (NSF, DARPA, DOE)
