Responsibilities
- Design and implement novel quantum algorithms for optimization, cryptography, and machine learning
- Develop error-correction protocols to achieve fault-tolerant quantum computing

- Lead quantum software development using Qiskit, Cirq, and custom frameworks
- Publish breakthrough research in Nature/Science journals and present at IEEE/APS conferences

Qualifications
- PhD in Quantum Physics, Computer Science, or related field (postdoc preferred)
- 3+ years hands-on experience with superconducting or ion-trap quantum systems
- Expertise in quantum error correction, topological quantum computing, or variational algorithms
- Proficiency in quantum programming languages (Q#, Qiskit, Cirq) and classical optimization tools
- Track record of high-impact publications in quantum information science
- Experience securing DoD/DARPA grants or industry partnerships
- Strong background in machine learning and high-performance computing
