Responsibilities
- Design and implement quantum algorithms for cryptography optimization
- Lead prototype development of 100+ qubit quantum processors
- Publish peer-reviewed research in Nature/Science journals
- Develop error-correction techniques for practical quantum applications
- Collaborate with AI teams to hybridize quantum-classical systems
- Secure $5M+ in NSF/DARPA research grants
- Mentor PhD candidates in quantum information theory
Qualifications
- PhD in Quantum Physics, Computer Science, or related field
- 3+ years of quantum algorithm development experience
- Published research in quantum error correction or topological qubits
- Proficiency in Qiskit, Cirq, or equivalent quantum SDKs
- Expertise in cryogenic quantum hardware design
- Track record of securing government research funding
- Deep understanding of quantum decoherence phenomena
- Patents in quantum communication protocols preferred
