Responsibilities
- Lead quantum algorithm development for cryptography, optimization, and machine learning applications

- Collaborate with hardware teams to translate theoretical models into practical implementations
- Publish groundbreaking research in Nature/Science and present at IEEE Quantum Week
- Mentor PhD candidates and interns in quantum programming (Qiskit, Cirq)
- Secure $1M+ in government and industry grants for quantum research initiatives
Qualifications
- PhD in Physics, Computer Science, or Quantum Information Science
- 3+ years hands-on experience with quantum computing platforms (IBM, Rigetti, IonQ)
- Expertise in quantum algorithms: Shor's, Grover's, VQE, QAOA
- Published research in top-tier quantum computing journals/conferences
- Proficiency in quantum programming frameworks and classical HPC integration
- Deep understanding of quantum decoherence and error mitigation techniques
- Strong track record of translating theory to experimental results
