Responsibilities
- Design and implement quantum algorithms for optimization and simulation problems
- Develop error-correction protocols to advance quantum stability
- Collaborate with hardware teams to optimize quantum processor performance
- Publish research in top-tier journals and present at international conferences
- Mentor junior researchers and cross-functional engineering teams
- Secure patents for novel quantum methodologies and architectures
- Lead projects in quantum cryptography and secure communication systems
Qualifications
- PhD in Physics, Computer Science, or related field with quantum focus
- 3+ years of hands-on quantum computing research experience
- Proficiency in quantum programming languages (Qiskit, Cirq, or Q#)
- Deep understanding of quantum mechanics and information theory
- Published record in quantum computing or quantum information
- Experience with superconducting or trapped-ion quantum systems
- Strong analytical skills and ability to translate complex theory into practical solutions
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
