Responsibilities
- Design and implement quantum algorithms for optimization and simulation problems
- Develop error correction protocols for quantum processors operating at 99.9% fidelity
- Lead cross-functional teams in translating theoretical models into scalable hardware solutions

- Collaborate with government agencies on quantum-resistant cryptography standards

Qualifications
- PhD in Quantum Physics, Computer Science, or related field with 3+ years industry experience
- Proven track record of publishing in Nature/Science or equivalent peer-reviewed journals
- Expertise in quantum programming languages (Q#, Qiskit, Cirq) and quantum circuit design
- Experience with cryogenic systems and superconducting qubit manipulation
- Strong background in quantum error correction and fault-tolerant architectures
- Demonstrated ability to secure research funding from NSF, DARPA, or equivalent institutions
- Excellent communication skills with ability to translate complex concepts for diverse audiences
