Responsibilities
- Design and implement novel quantum algorithms for real-world applications
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to integrate quantum solutions into existing systems
- Lead research on quantum error correction techniques and qubit stability
- Publish findings in leading scientific journals and present at international conferences
- Develop quantum simulation models for pharmaceutical and materials science applications
- Mentor junior researchers and quantum engineering interns
Qualifications
- PhD in Quantum Physics, Computer Science, or related field
- 3+ years of hands-on experience with quantum computing platforms (Qiskit, Cirq, or Q#)
- Expertise in quantum algorithm design and quantum information theory
- Proficiency in Python and high-performance computing frameworks
- Strong publication record in quantum computing or theoretical physics
- Experience with superconducting or trapped-ion quantum systems
- Ability to secure DoD or NSF research clearance (preferred)
