Responsibilities
- Design and implement novel quantum algorithms for optimization, simulation, and machine learning applications
- Develop error correction protocols and fault-tolerant quantum architectures
- Lead cross-functional teams to prototype and validate quantum computing systems
- Contribute to strategic roadmaps for quantum advantage in finance, healthcare, and materials science
- Publish research in peer-reviewed journals and present findings at international conferences
- Mentor junior researchers and drive innovation through hackathons and internal R&D initiatives
Qualifications
- PhD in Quantum Physics, Computer Science, or related field with 3+ years of industry experience
- Expertise in quantum programming languages (Q#, Qiskit, Cirq) and quantum circuit design
- Strong background in quantum error correction and fault-tolerant computing
- Proven track record of publishing in Nature/Science or equivalent high-impact journals
- Experience with quantum hardware platforms (IBM Quantum, Rigetti, IonQ)
- Excellent analytical skills and ability to translate complex theoretical concepts into practical applications
- Strong communication skills with ability to collaborate across disciplines
