Responsibilities
- Design and implement novel quantum algorithms for cryptography, optimization, and machine learning applications
- Lead experimental validation of quantum circuits on superconducting and photonic platforms
- Develop error-correction protocols to overcome quantum decoherence challenges
- Collaborate with AI teams to integrate quantum-accelerated models into enterprise systems
- Publish findings in Nature/Science and present at IEEE Quantum Week
- Secure $1M+ in NSF/DoD quantum research grants
- Mentor PhD researchers in quantum information science
Qualifications
- PhD in Physics, Computer Science, or Quantum Information with 3+ years postdoc experience
- Expertise in quantum programming languages (Q#, Qiskit, Cirq) and quantum circuit design
- Published research in top-tier quantum computing journals/conferences
- Proficiency in Python/C++ and high-performance computing frameworks
- Demonstrated success in quantum error mitigation techniques
- Familiarity with quantum machine learning frameworks (PennyLane, TensorFlow Quantum)
- Strong background in quantum many-body systems and topological quantum computing
