Responsibilities

- Establish partnerships with academic institutions and quantum hardware manufacturers
- Secure and manage research funding through government grants and corporate partnerships
- Publish findings in peer-reviewed journals and present at international conferences
- Mentor junior researchers and foster a culture of quantum innovation
- Translate theoretical quantum models into practical engineering solutions
Qualifications
- PhD in Quantum Computing, Physics, or Computer Science with 8+ years industry experience
- Proven track record of publishing in Nature/Science or top-tier quantum computing journals
- Expertise in quantum error correction and fault-tolerant architectures
- Strong background in quantum machine learning and optimization algorithms
- Experience managing research teams and securing $1M+ in grants/funding
- Familiarity with quantum hardware platforms (IBM Quantum, Rigetti, IonQ)
- Demonstrated ability to bridge theoretical research with commercial applications
