Responsibilities
- Lead quantum algorithm development for commercial applications in cryptography and AI optimization
- Manage cross-functional teams of physicists, engineers, and data scientists
- Secure $5M+ in government and private research funding
- Develop quantum error correction protocols for scalable quantum systems
- Publish top-tier research in Nature/Science journals
- Partner with NASA and DARPA on quantum communication initiatives
Qualifications
- PhD in Quantum Physics, Computer Science, or related field
- 5+ years of hands-on quantum computing research experience
- Proven track record of securing federal research grants
- Expertise in quantum circuit design and decoherence mitigation
- Publication record in high-impact journals
- Experience with quantum programming frameworks (Qiskit, Cirq)
