Responsibilities

- Collaborate with industry partners to prototype 2026-ready applications
- Secure patents and publish breakthrough research in top-tier journals
- Manage $5M+ research budgets and vendor relationships
- Mentor PhD researchers and foster a culture of radical innovation
Qualifications
- PhD in Quantum Physics, Computer Science, or related field
- 5+ years of quantum computing R&D leadership experience
- Proven expertise in Qiskit, Cirq, or equivalent quantum frameworks
- Published research in Nature/Science or equivalent tier journals
- Deep understanding of quantum decoherence and error mitigation
- Experience with high-performance computing architectures
- Strong track record of translating theory to commercial solutions
- US citizenship required for government contract compliance
