Responsibilities
- Design and implement quantum algorithms for commercial applications in 2026 technology stack
- Lead cross-functional teams of physicists, engineers, and data scientists
- Secure $5M+ in government/private research funding
- Publish breakthrough research in Nature/Science journals
- Develop quantum-resistant cybersecurity protocols
- Drive quantum cloud service architecture
- Mentor next-generation quantum researchers
Qualifications
- PhD in Quantum Physics, Computer Science, or related field
- 5+ years quantum computing research with IBM/Google/D-Wave
- Expertise in Qiskit, Cirq, or similar quantum frameworks
- Published quantum algorithm research with 500+ citations
- Strong background in topological quantum computing
- Experience securing government research grants
- Deep knowledge of quantum error correction techniques
