Responsibilities
- Lead quantum algorithm development for cryptography and optimization
- Collaborate with hardware teams on qubit stability protocols
- Publish peer-reviewed research in Nature/Science journals
- Manage $5M+ research budgets and vendor partnerships
- Mentor PhD candidates in quantum information theory
- Develop patent portfolios for quantum-resistant encryption
Qualifications
- PhD in Quantum Physics or Computer Science
- 5+ years of quantum algorithm implementation
- Published work in top-tier quantum journals
- Experience with IBM Q/Amazon Braket platforms
- Strong Python/C++ with quantum libraries (Qiskit, Cirq)
- Clearance for government quantum initiatives
