Responsibilities
- Design and implement novel quantum algorithms for optimization and simulation problems
- Lead a team of 5-7 researchers in experimental quantum computing projects
- Collaborate with industry partners to develop real-world quantum applications
- Publish findings in top-tier journals and present at international conferences
- Secure government and private funding for quantum research initiatives
- Develop roadmaps for quantum advantage implementation in target sectors
Qualifications
- PhD in Quantum Physics, Computer Science, or related field
- 5+ years of hands-on experience with quantum computing platforms (Qiskit, Cirq, etc.)
- Proven track record of publishing in quantum computing or theoretical physics
- Expertise in quantum error correction and fault-tolerant architectures
- Strong leadership experience managing technical research teams
- Deep understanding of quantum complexity theory and computational models
- Ability to translate complex quantum concepts into business applications
