Responsibilities
- Design and implement novel quantum algorithms for optimization and simulation problems
- Develop error mitigation protocols for quantum hardware systems
- Collaborate with physicists and hardware engineers to bridge quantum software-hardware gaps
- Lead research initiatives in topological quantum computing and fault tolerance
- Author peer-reviewed publications and present at international quantum conferences
- Mentor junior researchers and drive technical roadmap development
Qualifications
- PhD in Quantum Physics, Computer Science, or related field with 3+ years industry experience
- Expertise in quantum programming languages (Qiskit, Cirq, Q#) and quantum circuit design
- Proven track record in quantum algorithm development and experimental validation
- Deep understanding of quantum error correction and fault-tolerant architectures
- Strong background in high-performance computing and parallel processing
- Published research in top-tier quantum computing journals
- Experience with quantum hardware platforms (IBM Q, Rigetti, IonQ)
