Responsibilities
- Design scalable quantum computing architectures with 100+ qubit systems
- Develop quantum error correction protocols for fault-tolerant operations
- Create hybrid quantum-classical workflows for enterprise applications
- Lead cross-functional teams in quantum algorithm optimization
- Research novel qubit technologies (topological, photonic, superconducting)
- Document quantum system specifications and integration blueprints
- Collaborate with hardware teams on cryogenic control systems
Qualifications
- PhD in Physics, Computer Science, or related field (or equivalent experience)
- 3+ years in quantum computing architecture or quantum algorithm development
- Proficiency in quantum programming languages (Q#, Qiskit, Cirq)
- Expertise in quantum error correction and fault-tolerant design
- Published research in peer-reviewed quantum computing journals
- Experience with superconducting or photonic qubit systems
- Strong background in quantum information theory and quantum mechanics
