Responsibilities
- Design and implement scalable quantum algorithms for optimization and simulation problems
- Architect hybrid quantum-classical computing systems with 99.9% fault tolerance
- Lead R&D initiatives in quantum error correction and coherence enhancement
- Collaborate with hardware teams to optimize quantum processor interfaces
- Develop patent-pending quantum security protocols for 2026-era threats
- Mentor a cross-functional team of quantum physicists and software engineers
- Present breakthrough findings at global tech conferences (IEEE, ACM)
Qualifications
- PhD in Quantum Physics, Computer Science, or equivalent with 5+ years industry experience
- Proven track record of publishing in Nature/Science journals or equivalent
- Expertise in quantum circuit design and Q# or Qiskit frameworks
- Deep understanding of quantum decoherence mitigation techniques
- Experience leading teams with $10M+ R&D budgets
- Patents in quantum computing or related fields preferred
