You'll lead cross-functional teams of physicists, engineers, and AI specialists to transform theoretical quantum algorithms into real-world applications across cryptography, materials science, and climate modeling.
Responsibilities
- Design and implement scalable quantum computing architectures for enterprise applications
- Develop error-correction protocols for fault-tolerant quantum systems
- Lead integration of quantum accelerators with classical HPC infrastructure
- Research and prototype novel quantum algorithms for optimization problems
- Collaborate with security teams to develop quantum-resistant encryption standards
- Mentor junior quantum engineers in quantum circuit design principles
- Present breakthrough findings at premier quantum computing conferences
Qualifications
- PhD in Quantum Computing, Physics, or Computer Science (or equivalent experience)
- 5+ years of experience in quantum algorithm development
- Proficiency with quantum programming languages (Qiskit, Cirq, Q#)
- Deep understanding of quantum error correction techniques
- Published research in peer-reviewed quantum computing journals
- Experience with superconducting qubit manipulation systems
- Strong background in linear algebra and quantum mechanics
- Track record of leading complex technical projects to completion
