Responsibilities
- Design and implement quantum circuit architectures for commercial-scale quantum processors
- Develop error mitigation protocols for quantum systems operating at scale
- Create hybrid quantum-classical computing frameworks for enterprise solutions
- Lead cross-functional teams of physicists, engineers, and software developers
- Develop quantum algorithms targeting optimization and simulation problems
- Establish security protocols for quantum-resistant cryptography systems
- Drive innovation in quantum machine learning integration
Qualifications
- PhD in Quantum Physics, Computer Science, or related field (MS with exceptional experience considered)
- 5+ years experience in quantum computing research or commercial development
- Proficiency in quantum programming languages (Qiskit, Cirq, Q#)
- Deep understanding of quantum error correction and fault tolerance
- Published research in peer-reviewed quantum computing journals
- Experience with superconducting or ion-trap quantum hardware
- Strong background in high-performance computing architectures
