Responsibilities
- Design and implement scalable quantum computing architectures for enterprise applications
- Develop quantum algorithms to optimize complex computational problems in finance, logistics, and AI
- Collaborate with hardware teams to integrate quantum processors with classical systems
- Lead security protocols for quantum-resistant encryption systems
- Research emerging quantum technologies (topological qubits, photonic computing) and assess commercial viability
- Mentor junior scientists and publish breakthrough research in peer-reviewed journals
- Partner with Fortune 500 clients to implement quantum computing pilots
Qualifications
- PhD in Quantum Physics, Computer Science, or related field with 5+ years industry experience
- Expertise in quantum algorithm design (Shor's, Grover's, VQE)
- Proficiency with quantum programming languages (Qiskit, Cirq, Q#)
- Deep understanding of quantum error correction and fault tolerance
- Published research in top quantum computing conferences (QIP, IEEE Quantum Week)
- Experience with cloud quantum platforms (IBM Quantum, Amazon Braket)
- Strong background in high-performance computing and distributed systems
- Track record of translating theoretical quantum concepts into practical solutions
