Responsibilities
- Design and implement scalable quantum computing architectures for enterprise applications
- Lead cross-functional teams in developing quantum algorithms for optimization and simulation
- Research and integrate emerging quantum technologies (superconducting qubits, photonics, topological computing)
- Develop error-correction frameworks to achieve fault-tolerant quantum systems
- Collaborate with government agencies and Fortune 500 companies on quantum security protocols
- Present quantum computing roadmaps to C-suite executives and industry stakeholders
- Drive innovation in quantum machine learning and AI integration
Qualifications
- PhD in Quantum Physics, Computer Science, or related field (MS with 10+ years experience)
- 5+ years in quantum computing architecture or quantum algorithm development
- Expertise in quantum programming languages (Q#, Qiskit, Cirq)
- Published research in quantum error correction or fault tolerance
- Experience with quantum hardware platforms (IBM Quantum, Rigetti, IonQ)
- Strong background in high-performance computing and distributed systems
- Proven track record of leading technical projects in quantum domain
- Security clearance preferred (DOD/Federal projects)
