Responsibilities
- Design scalable quantum computing architectures leveraging superconducting qubits and topological quantum systems
- Develop error correction protocols for fault-tolerant quantum processors
- Collaborate with AI/ML teams to integrate quantum-classical hybrid algorithms
- Lead quantum software optimization for pharmaceutical simulations and materials science
- Establish quantum security frameworks for post-quantum cryptography systems
- Mentor quantum engineering teams and publish research in top-tier journals
Qualifications
- PhD in Quantum Physics, Computer Science, or related field with 5+ years industry experience
- Expertise in quantum circuit design and quantum error correction methodologies
- Proficiency with quantum programming languages (Q#, Qiskit, Cirq)
- Published research in quantum computing or quantum information theory
- Experience with cryogenic quantum systems and microwave control electronics
- Strong background in linear algebra, complex analysis, and computational physics
