Responsibilities
- Architect scalable quantum circuits for enterprise applications
- Develop hybrid quantum-classical algorithms for real-world deployment
- Lead cross-functional teams in prototyping quantum-resistant security systems
- Optimize qubit coherence times through error correction innovation
- Translate complex quantum principles into actionable engineering specifications
- Collaborate with NASA and DARPA on quantum supremacy initiatives
- Pioneer quantum machine learning frameworks for predictive analytics
Qualifications
- PhD in Quantum Physics, Computer Science, or related field
- 5+ years experience with quantum programming languages (Q#, Qiskit)
- Published research in top-tier quantum computing journals
- Expertise in quantum error correction protocols (surface codes, LDPC)
- Proven track record of scaling quantum systems beyond 1000 qubits
- Strong background in superconducting or photonic quantum hardware
- Experience with cloud quantum platforms (IBM Quantum, Amazon Braket)
- Security clearance preferred for government contract work
