Responsibilities
- Design and implement quantum computing architectures for enterprise-scale applications
- Develop error-corrected quantum circuits and optimize qubit coherence times
- Lead cross-functional teams in translating business requirements into quantum solutions
- Research and integrate emerging quantum technologies including topological qubits
- Create quantum-resistant security protocols for 2026-era systems
- Mentor junior quantum engineers and establish best practices for quantum development
- Collaborate with academic partners to advance quantum algorithm research
Qualifications
- PhD in Quantum Physics, Computer Science, or related field (MS with exceptional experience considered)
- 5+ years in quantum computing architecture or high-performance computing
- Expertise in quantum algorithms (Shor's, Grover's, VQE) and error correction
- Proficiency with quantum programming languages (Q#, Qiskit, Cirq)
- Strong background in distributed systems and classical-quantum hybrid architectures
- Published research in peer-reviewed quantum computing journals
- Experience with cloud quantum platforms (IBM Quantum, Amazon Braket)
