Responsibilities
- Design and implement quantum circuit architectures for 100+ qubit systems
- Develop quantum error correction protocols for fault-tolerant computation
- Create hybrid quantum-classical workflows for enterprise applications
- Optimize quantum algorithms for specific hardware constraints
- Lead quantum security protocols for post-quantum cryptography
- Collaborate with hardware teams on qubit coherence and gate fidelity
- Establish performance benchmarks and quantum advantage metrics
Qualifications
- PhD in Quantum Computing, Physics, or Computer Science (MS with 8+ years experience)
- Expertise in quantum programming languages (Q#, Qiskit, Cirq)
- Published research in quantum error correction or algorithms
- Experience with superconducting or trapped-ion quantum hardware
- Strong background in linear algebra and quantum information theory
- Proficiency in high-performance computing and parallel processing
- Demonstrated ability to lead complex R&D projects
