Responsibilities
- Design fault-tolerant quantum computing architectures for enterprise-scale applications
- Develop hybrid quantum-classical algorithms for optimization and simulation problems
- Lead implementation of quantum error correction protocols and decoherence mitigation strategies
- Collaborate with hardware teams to integrate quantum processors with classical control systems
- Establish performance benchmarks and scalability roadmaps for quantum advantage
- Author technical documentation and white papers for quantum computing standards
- Mentor junior engineers in quantum programming and system architecture principles
Qualifications
- PhD in Quantum Physics, Computer Science, or related field with 5+ years industry experience
- Expertise in quantum programming languages (Q#, Qiskit, Cirq) and quantum circuit design
- Proven experience with quantum error correction codes and fault-tolerant architectures
- Strong background in superconducting qubit systems or photonic quantum computing
- Published research in peer-reviewed quantum computing journals or conferences
- Proficiency in high-performance computing and parallel processing frameworks
- Demonstrated ability to translate theoretical concepts into practical implementations
