- Research emerging quantum technologies (topological qubits, photonic quantum computing)
- Secure patents for quantum innovations with legal team collaboration
- Mentor junior quantum engineers in cutting-edge methodologies
- Present quantum roadmaps to C-suite and venture partners
Qualifications
- PhD in Quantum Physics, Computer Science, or related field (MS with 10+ years experience)
- 5+ years developing quantum algorithms or quantum error correction
- Proficiency in quantum programming languages (Q#, Qiskit, Cirq)
- Published research in quantum computing or quantum information theory
- Experience with superconducting quantum processors or photonic systems
- Deep understanding of quantum decoherence and mitigation strategies
- Track record of leading technical teams in high-stakes projects
- Clearance for DOE/NIST quantum security protocols preferred
