Responsibilities
- Design and implement scalable quantum computing architectures for enterprise applications
- Develop novel quantum algorithms to optimize machine learning and cryptography systems
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to integrate quantum solutions with classical infrastructure
- Lead research initiatives in quantum error correction and fault-tolerant systems
- Create technical documentation and patents for breakthrough quantum methodologies
- Mentor junior engineers and foster a culture of quantum innovation
Qualifications
- PhD in Quantum Physics, Computer Science, or related field with 5+ years industry experience
- Expertise in quantum programming languages (Q#, Qiskit, Cirq) and quantum circuit design
- Deep understanding of quantum mechanics, linear algebra, and computational complexity
- Proven track record publishing in quantum computing or quantum information theory
- Experience with quantum hardware platforms (IBM Quantum, Rigetti, IonQ)
- Strong background in cloud computing (AWS, Azure, GCP) and distributed systems
- Exceptional problem-solving skills and ability to communicate complex concepts
