Responsibilities
- Design scalable quantum computing architectures for enterprise-scale applications
- Develop error-correction protocols achieving >99.9% fidelity in quantum operations
- Lead cross-functional teams in implementing quantum-classical hybrid systems
- Research and integrate emerging quantum algorithms (Shor's, Grover's, VQE) into production environments
- Collaborate with hardware teams to optimize qubit coherence times and gate operations
- Document quantum system specifications and security protocols for NIST compliance
Qualifications
- PhD in Quantum Physics, Computer Science, or related field (MS with 5+ years experience considered)
- 3+ years hands-on experience with quantum programming frameworks (Qiskit, Cirq, Q#)
- Published research in quantum error correction or fault-tolerant computing
- Expertise in cryogenic systems and superconducting qubit manipulation
- Proficiency in high-performance computing (HPC) architectures and parallel processing
- Certification in quantum security (e.g., Qiskit Advocate, IBM Quantum Professional)
- Demonstrated ability to translate theoretical concepts into practical implementations
