Responsibilities
- Design scalable quantum circuits and error-correction protocols for fault-tolerant quantum processors
- Develop hybrid quantum-classical algorithms to solve complex optimization problems
- Collaborate with hardware teams to translate quantum algorithms into practical implementations
- Lead security audits for quantum-resistant cryptographic systems
- Research emerging quantum technologies (e.g., topological qubits, photonic computing)
- Present breakthrough findings at international conferences and publish in peer-reviewed journals
- Mentor junior quantum engineers and cross-functional technical teams
Qualifications
- PhD in Quantum Physics, Computer Science, or related field (or equivalent experience)
- 5+ years of experience in quantum algorithm development or quantum hardware design
- Proficiency with quantum programming frameworks (Qiskit, Cirq, Q#)
- Strong background in linear algebra, quantum mechanics, and computational complexity
- Experience with cloud quantum platforms (IBM Quantum, Amazon Braket, Azure Quantum)
