Responsibilities
- Design and implement quantum computing architectures for enterprise-scale applications
- Lead integration of quantum-classical hybrid systems with cloud infrastructure
- Develop error-correction protocols for fault-tolerant quantum processors
- Collaborate with AI teams to optimize quantum machine learning algorithms
- Architect secure quantum communication networks for global clients
- Research and prototype emerging quantum technologies (topological qubits, photonics)
- Mentor cross-functional teams in quantum principles and implementation
Qualifications
- PhD in Quantum Physics, Computer Science, or related field (MS with exceptional experience considered)
- 5+ years experience in quantum computing architecture or quantum algorithm design
- Expertise in quantum programming languages (Q#, Qiskit, Cirq)
- Proficiency in superconducting qubit manipulation and cryogenic systems
- Published research in quantum error correction or quantum communication
- Experience with quantum cloud platforms (IBM Q, Rigetti, IonQ)
- Strong background in distributed systems and high-performance computing
