Responsibilities
- Design scalable quantum computing architectures for fault-tolerant operations
- Develop quantum algorithms for optimization, cryptography, and machine learning applications
- Lead integration of quantum processors with classical HPC systems
- Collaborate with physics teams on qubit coherence and error correction protocols
- Drive roadmap for 2026 quantum computing capabilities and use cases
- Mentor cross-functional teams in quantum software development
- Secure patents and publish research in quantum computing journals
Qualifications
- PhD in Quantum Physics, Computer Science, or related field (or equivalent experience)
- 5+ years in quantum computing research or industry development
- Expertise in quantum circuit design and optimization frameworks
- Proficiency with Qiskit, Cirq, or similar quantum programming tools
- Strong background in quantum error correction and fault tolerance
- Experience with high-performance computing architectures
- Track record of publishing in peer-reviewed quantum computing publications
