Responsibilities
- Design and implement quantum circuit architectures with >99.9% fidelity
- Lead quantum algorithm development for optimization and simulation problems
- Develop error correction protocols for 100+ qubit systems
- Collaborate with hardware teams on cryogenic control systems
- Quantify quantum advantage through benchmarking against classical systems
- Secure $5M+ in DARPA/NSF quantum computing grants
- Publish 3+ papers/year in top-tier quantum computing journals
Qualifications
- PhD in Quantum Physics/Computer Science with 5+ years industry experience
- Expertise in quantum programming languages (Q#, Qiskit, Cirq)
- Published work in quantum error correction or topological qubits
- Proficiency in quantum Monte Carlo simulations
- Experience with superconducting or ion-trap quantum processors
- Strong background in condensed matter physics
- Track record of securing quantum computing research funding
