Responsibilities
- Design fault-tolerant quantum computing architectures for commercial deployment
- Develop hybrid quantum-classical algorithms solving previously intractable problems
- Lead cross-functional teams in implementing quantum error correction protocols
- Research and integrate emerging quantum technologies (photonic, topological, etc.)
- Collaborate with AI teams to develop quantum-enhanced machine learning frameworks
- Establish security protocols for quantum-resistant cryptography systems
- Present breakthrough findings at industry conferences and peer-reviewed journals
Qualifications
- PhD in Quantum Physics, Computer Science, or related field (or equivalent experience)
- 5+ years experience in quantum algorithm design or quantum hardware development
- Expertise in quantum error correction and fault-tolerant architectures
- Proficiency with quantum programming languages (Q#, Qiskit, Cirq)
- Publication record in quantum computing or related fields
- Strong background in linear algebra, complex systems, and information theory
- Experience leading technical teams through complex research projects
- Deep understanding of quantum supremacy applications in finance, logistics, and drug discovery
