Responsibilities
- Design scalable quantum algorithms for complex optimization problems in finance, logistics, and materials science
- Develop quantum error correction protocols for fault-tolerant systems
- Lead cross-functional teams of physicists and software engineers in quantum hardware-software co-design
- Create quantum simulation frameworks for drug discovery and molecular modeling
- Establish quantum security protocols for next-gen encryption systems
- Present architectural blueprints to C-suite executives and venture capital partners
- Contribute to open-source quantum computing initiatives and industry standards
Qualifications
- PhD in Quantum Physics, Computer Science, or related field with 5+ years industry experience
- Proven expertise in quantum algorithm development (Shor's, Grover's, QAOA)
- Proficiency with quantum programming frameworks (Qiskit, Cirq, Q#)
- Publication record in peer-reviewed quantum computing journals
- Experience with superconducting or photonic quantum processors
- Demonstrated ability to translate complex quantum concepts into business applications
- Strong background in high-performance computing and parallel programming
- Relevant patents or contributions to open-source quantum projects
