Responsibilities
- Design and implement quantum algorithms for optimization problems
- Architect hybrid quantum-classical computing infrastructures
- Lead cross-functional R&D teams in quantum error correction
- Develop patentable quantum-resistant encryption protocols
- Translate complex quantum theories into practical business applications
- Collaborate with NASA and DARPA on quantum communication systems
- Mentor junior researchers in quantum mechanical principles
Qualifications
- PhD in Quantum Physics or Computer Science (or equivalent experience)
- 5+ years in quantum computing architecture or quantum algorithm design
- Proficiency in Qiskit, Cirq, and quantum circuit optimization
- Published research in peer-reviewed quantum computing journals
- Experience with superconducting qubit systems and cryogenic engineering
- Deep understanding of quantum entanglement and decoherence challenges
- Track record of translating quantum theory into commercial solutions
