Responsibilities
- Design fault-tolerant quantum architectures scalable to 10,000+ qubits
- Develop hybrid quantum-classical algorithms for optimization problems
- Lead integration of quantum systems with classical HPC infrastructure
- Collaborate with hardware teams to mitigate decoherence challenges
- Research and implement error correction protocols for quantum supremacy
- Mentor cross-functional teams in quantum computational principles
- Contribute to open-source quantum frameworks and SDKs
Qualifications
- PhD in Physics, Computer Science, or related field (or equivalent experience)
- 5+ years in quantum computing or high-performance computing architecture
- Expertise in quantum algorithms (Shor's, Grover's, QAOA, VQE)
- Proficiency with quantum programming languages (Q#, Qiskit, Cirq)
- Deep understanding of quantum error correction and fault tolerance
- Experience with superconducting or trapped-ion quantum systems
- Published research in peer-reviewed quantum computing journals
- Strong background in linear algebra and probability theory
