Responsibilities
- Design and implement scalable quantum computing architectures using superconducting qubits and topological systems
- Develop quantum error correction protocols to achieve fault-tolerant quantum computation
- Lead cross-functional teams in quantum software-hardware co-design initiatives
- Research and integrate emerging quantum technologies (photonic, ion-trap) into hybrid computing systems
- Collaborate with government agencies on post-quantum cryptography standardization
- Drive quantum algorithm development for optimization problems in finance and logistics
- Present quantum computing roadmaps to C-suite executives and strategic partners
Qualifications
- PhD in Quantum Physics, Computer Science, or related field (or equivalent experience)
- 5+ years experience in quantum computing architecture or quantum information theory
- Proficiency in quantum programming languages (Q#, Qiskit, Cirq) and simulation frameworks
- Published research in peer-reviewed quantum computing journals or conferences
- Expertise in cryogenic systems and quantum control electronics
- Strong background in linear algebra, quantum mechanics, and information theory
- Experience leading technical teams and managing R&D budgets
- Understanding of NIS2 compliance and quantum security frameworks
