Responsibilities
- Design and implement quantum algorithms for optimization and machine learning applications
- Develop hybrid quantum-classical solutions for enterprise-scale problems
- Collaborate with cryptography teams to create quantum-resistant security protocols
- Optimize quantum circuit performance for near-term hardware constraints
- Lead research initiatives in error mitigation and quantum decoherence
- Document and publish breakthroughs in peer-reviewed journals
- Mentor junior researchers in quantum computing fundamentals
Qualifications
- PhD in Physics, Computer Science, or related field with quantum focus
- 3+ years experience in quantum algorithm development or quantum programming
- Proficiency in Qiskit, Cirq, or equivalent quantum SDK frameworks
- Published research in quantum computing or quantum information theory
- Strong background in linear algebra and complex probability theory
- Experience with high-performance computing and parallel processing
- Demonstrated ability to translate theoretical concepts into practical implementations
