Responsibilities
- Develop novel quantum machine learning algorithms for 2026-era applications
- Design error-corrected quantum circuits for AI optimization tasks
- Lead cross-functional teams in prototyping quantum-AI hybrid systems
- Author peer-reviewed research for Nature/Science journals
- Partner with NASA and DARPA on quantum-resistant security frameworks
- Mentor junior researchers in quantum information theory
Qualifications
- PhD in Quantum Computing, Physics, or Computer Science (or equivalent experience)
- 3+ years implementing quantum algorithms on real hardware (IBM/Qiskit, Rigetti)
- Published research in quantum machine learning or quantum information theory
- Expertise in Python, C++, and quantum circuit optimization
- Deep understanding of quantum error correction and fault tolerance
- Strong background in AI/ML frameworks (TensorFlow Quantum, PennyLane)
- Security clearance preferred for government partnerships
