Responsibilities
- Design and implement quantum machine learning frameworks for real-world applications
- Lead cross-functional teams in developing hybrid quantum-classical AI systems
- Author peer-reviewed research on quantum neural networks and quantum optimization
- Translate theoretical models into scalable prototypes for industry partners
- Secure $2M+ in research grants and patents annually
- Mentor PhD candidates in quantum computing methodologies
- Present findings at international conferences including NeurIPS and QIP
Qualifications
- PhD in Quantum Computing, Physics, or Computer Science
- 5+ years experience in quantum algorithm development
- Published research in Nature/Science or equivalent journals
- Proficiency in Qiskit, Cirq, and TensorFlow Quantum
- Deep understanding of quantum error correction techniques
- Experience with superconducting qubit architectures
- Strong Python/C++ programming and Linux environments
- Track record of securing government/industry research funding
