Responsibilities
- Design and implement quantum machine learning algorithms for real-world optimization problems

- Publish breakthrough research in top-tier journals (Nature Physics, Quantum Science & Technology)
- Secure $2M+ in federal grants for quantum-AI convergence projects
- Mentor PhD candidates in quantum information theory
- Translate theoretical models into scalable industrial applications
Qualifications
- PhD in Quantum Physics, Computer Science, or related field (postdoc preferred)
- 3+ years hands-on experience with quantum annealing or gate-based systems
- Expertise in Python/C++ with quantum libraries (Qiskit, Cirq, PennyLane)
- Published work in quantum machine learning or topological quantum computing
- Proficiency in tensor network simulations and quantum error correction
- Deep understanding of quantum supremacy benchmarks and NISQ limitations
- Track record of securing DoE or NSF quantum research funding
