Responsibilities
- Design and implement novel quantum machine learning algorithms for high-stakes computational problems
- Lead cross-functional teams of physicists, software engineers, and domain experts in prototyping quantum-AI hybrid systems
- Develop error-correction protocols for quantum neural networks operating at 1000+ qubit scales
- Publish peer-reviewed research in top-tier journals (Nature, Science, Quantum Computing Reports)
- Secure and manage $5M+ in government and private research grants
- Mentor PhD candidates and interns in quantum AI methodologies
- Translate theoretical breakthroughs into scalable production-ready solutions
Qualifications
- PhD in Quantum Computing, Machine Learning, or Physics with 3+ years of postdoctoral research
- Proven expertise in quantum circuit design and quantum error correction algorithms
- Publication record in quantum machine learning or quantum neural networks
- Proficiency with quantum programming frameworks (Qiskit, Cirq, Q#) and high-performance computing
- Experience with cloud-based quantum platforms (IBM Quantum, Amazon Braket, Azure Quantum)
