Responsibilities
- Lead quantum-AI algorithm development and integration with classical ML frameworks
- Design fault-tolerant quantum circuits for NLP and computer vision applications
- Collaborate with hardware teams to optimize quantum processor performance
- Publish breakthrough research in top-tier journals (Nature, Science, IEEE)
- Manage a team of 5-7 researchers and PhD candidates
- Secure $2M+ in annual research grants from NSF and DARPA
- Develop patentable quantum encryption protocols for 2026 deployment
Qualifications
- PhD in Quantum Computing, AI, or related field (Postdoc preferred)
- 5+ years of quantum algorithm implementation experience
- Published research in quantum machine learning or quantum information theory
- Expertise in Python, Qiskit, Cirq, and TensorFlow Quantum
- Strong track record of securing government research grants
- Experience leading technical teams in high-stakes environments
- Deep understanding of quantum error correction and fault tolerance
- Patent portfolio in quantum technologies (3+ patents preferred)
